View Full Version : Help: Surface as alpha channel in final render?

Hi, maybe somebody have idea how achieve this what i need.
I must render bus left and right mirrors from driver point of view (to driving simulator). I would like to have mirrors/glass as alpha channel in final render (png32 or psd). What set up to this surface or object layer in Layout?
I am curious is this is possible in LW. I know i can do this in PS in few seconds when mirrors would be for example white and just cut them but i want test this upper idea. :thumbsup:

you can set the alpha for a surface in the surface editor -> advanced tab. Alpha channel -> constant value

Thank you for help. Constant value set on 0 give exactly this result what i need :)
I never used this in advanced surface settings ;]
