I started learning LW7 in OS9 last year and needed to change an .init file before the upper right corner button to access layout from modeler, and vise versa, would appear. I had to break off training till now, and I've reinstalled it on Jaguar this time. So does anyone know what need to do to get the button? Thanks.

First launch Modeler (or Lightwave). Look for the Hub to launch in the dock. If it shows up (a little green lightwave icon) then you want to launch the other application. With default configurations, the switch buttons should appear.

If the Hub doesn't show up, go to your Applications -> Lighwave -> programs folder and open up Lightwave cmdline and Modeler cmdline in a text editor. Make sure there is not a -0 (dash zero) at the beginning of each config file, and save.

If it still doesn't show up, in both Modeler and Lightwave, open up the menu editor (Option-F10) and in the top left, select the "default" preset. Quit, and save.
