I have this 28 frame motion of a small white square:

setting motion blur to 100% * 28 should render that all in one go, but the result is nothing like the motion path:

what the hell is that?! it seems like LW suffers from an extreme lack of precision in photoreal motion blur

please someone tell me there's a way around this

Set minimum samples to 1
Set maximum samples to 64
Set motion blur passes to 32

this is better thanks, but unfortunately this little scene was just a proof of concept for a more complex motion path, and I don't think upping the blur passes is going to work in this case

classic cam blurs correctly but with the limited AA the coverage is very poor, I wish I could have the best of both
