Hi all,
A good friend of mine and a regular on these boards Nik Faulkner passed away peacefully yesterday morning after a 4 year battle with oesophageal cancer.

He was an amazingly talented and helpful artist.. I worked with him on numerous occasions, and he always came up with solutions to problems and loved lightwave. A great loss to the community and to the world in general.

His work is to feature in the showreel for Siggraph, which he was really excited about. Its a shame he didn't get to see it.

I thought i'd let people know just in case you were trying to contact him. Profile below.

Sorry to hear, in the end the pain is reliefed .
He will be Remembered in his work and within his family and friends.

If you can afford it, help the world community fight cancer, I hope someday it will be a thing in the past..letīs work for and hope for that.

And for all others in the LW community I say to you, work to stay healthy..we donīt want to see more
people passing by due to injuries or illness, Life can hit us badly in so many ways that we canīt be protected from everything, but we can always fight the battle before and during..until the old age meets
us with a smile, and all you can do is smile back.
