View Full Version : Broken/unwelded UV's?

I received a Softimage model (obj) and when working with uv's I saw that some parts have the uv's "unwelded" or broken poly by poly when choosing subpatch as uv interpolation...

What I mean is every polygon is subpatched independently each of others only in the UV visor, not the real model.

Could I fix it in LW without doing again the uv's?

That's what I'm talking about

There is a WELD UV command in modeler.

A common problem I have when I get objects from XSI is that if the object had a mirror at some point in XSI the UVs come in with some polygons rotated, so I bound the modeler command "Rotate UVs (per poly)" to a key to fix them.

Thanks, Danner. What you said works perfectly... A bit tricky at the beginning but it fixes the problem

Sorry because reanimating almost dead threads, but I had to face the same problem again and I discovered that opening and later saving that obj in Blender, it opens with uv's OK in LW. Faster and easier
