Hello, there is a new longer trailer for my short film, Ultraviolent. It's 20 megs, and you will need Divx 3.11 or later to view it.

This time, Let me talk....

The most best part is the background music, not the animation.
the second best part is the scene atmospheres.
the third best part is the soldiers.

Well somethings I have to point out

1. Too much words and titles, they occupied most of the time in the animation....feel boring. And the clips are too fragments to show the story.

2. About the scene showing the city and the flocking birds, I see the birds from none to many (I can count 1,2,3,4) and start flying in the middle of the animation.

3. Lip sync at the end of the movie is not synchonized and become weird.

4. some clips have no transition at all and feel sudden....

...Plus, most importantly, it wasn't even moderately violent, much less Ultraviolent.

I was expecting big bada boom and got a fizzle..

ALTHOUGH...

it was much better animation wise than anything I could do..

so it's not a total wash. just not what I waited 3 minutes to download...

Thanks for the comments! Both of you I think are taking the word 'Ultraviolent' too literal. It is the title of movie (there is a meaning behind the word), and does not mean that there will literally be violence in every frame. I think my mistake came in calling it a trailer when it is really more of a teaser. So yes, it designed to introduce you to the look and feel of what Ultraviolent will be when it is completed, ie. when violence is inserted.

:D

Well, I am not involved in the critic of your animation title.....

I think your still images are good, I remembered. But animation need a bit more improve (Well I am still playing it without a professional teaching me.)

Teaser should be back up in about 5 min. I'm uploading an updated version. There's no major changes for anyone that already downloaded it, I just tightened up the editing, fixed a couple of mistakes, improved about 2 seconds of footage and subtly shifted the tint of the trailer.
