View Full Version : Flexible parts? (Bullet dynamics)

I was playing around with bullet dynamics today, and I was wondering if there is a way to have a part that stretches and breaks under stress. Parts seem to behave like a solid, and deformable objects don't break.
Is there some way to combine both?

Try playing with break angles. They'll keep parts glued together (while flexing to a degree) - and only break if they exceed the specified angle threshold

Thanks Dan. After your suggestion I took a look at the tower scene, and by just increasing the break angle, I saw how rubbery it can get.
I think I might be able to pull it off!
