View Full Version : GoZ borked in 11.5?

Hey, been having lots of fun with 11.5 - check out this (http://forums.newtek.com/showthread.php?134665-BBC-Radio-1xtra-quot-Bassphone-quot-promo) if you haven't seen it already! - but I've run into major problems with Zbrush GoZ.

I can send files from Modeler OK. But every time I try and send a sculpt done in ZBrush over to Lightwave it crashes (Lightwave, not Zbrush). It does this whether I send the model to Layout or Modeler. Has anyone else running LW on OSX had the same issue?

I've got a workaround by opening LW11 (instead of 11.5) and using GoZ to send to that, which works OK and doesn't crash. But obviously this is a PITA right now. I'm attaching a crash report log FWIW. And yes, I will Fogz this.

I have access to Windows 7 machines, but not OSX machines. :o

Ah damn - does GoZ work OK on Win7? I think the issue might be with the TIFF loader. It crashes when I try and swap the images in the image editor. They're 16-bit TIFF displacement maps created by GoZ.

I wonder... I just installed FrameD. I know that affects image loading. Will try disabling and see if makes a difference.

OK - this might be it! Just disabled FrameD from LW11.5 and GoZ works perfectly now. I'll let Mike know, this is a nasty bug!
