Faster file copy on the TC 450? Help! USB 2.0 too slow. No external ESATA or USB 3.0? Like others, I need a faster transfer of something more portable than the Hot Swap Drive. Any ideas?

1. Only thing I can think of would be to capture our live recording onto another computer with editing software that has USB 3.0, esata 6GB/s, or thunderbolt. Then copy onto something portable like a USB drive.

This would work but our director already as to hit RECORD, STREAM and the record button on a DVD recorder. This would make the 4th recording operation all done at the same time.

Ideas?

You could use a SATA to eSATA cable from your drive bay to eSATA device.

hcoat, do you mean from the inside of the Tricaster or the Hot Swap ESata drive bay?

I was thinking of the Hot Swappable drive bay, although either should work.
I the idea is to use a cable to extend the drive bay to so that you can attach your portable media via eSATA.
