I had a request for the scene files for the Aventador renders I posted a while back, so here they are.

112768 112766 112767 112765

I spent a little time separating out the various parts so they are interchangeable to achieve a variety of looks, the ZIP file includes:

Light_Studio-Ceiling.lwo
Light_Studio-Ceiling_Dark.lwo
Light_Studio-Ceiling_Luminous.lwo
Light_Studio-Floor.lwo
Light_Studio-Floor_Dark.lwo
Light_Studio-Floor_Tiled.lwo
Light_Studio-Floor_Tiled_Dark.lwo
Light_Studio-Left_Wall.lwo
Light_Studio-Left_Wall_Dark.lwo
Light_Studio-Left_Wall_Luminous.lwo
Light_Studio-Overhead_Light_Boxes_Long.lwo
Light_Studio-Overhead_Light_Boxes_Ring.lwo
Light_Studio-Overhead_Light_Boxes_Short.lwo
Light_Studio-Rear_Wall.lwo
Light_Studio-Rear_Wall_Dark.lwo
Light_Studio-Rear_Wall_Luminous.lwo
Light_Studio-Right_Wall.lwo
Light_Studio-Right_Wall_Dark.lwo
Light_Studio-Right_Wall_Luminous.lwo
Light_Studio-Skirting.lwo
Light_Studio-Skirting_Dark.lwo

Scene File and Models:
112764

This is not meant to be one of those studio lighting kits, it would need far more work to become that. I also left the Global Illumination settings quite high, so you might want to optimise those for your needs.

Hope these are useful to someone.

Regards
Matt

Thanks Lewis, yeah I want to start gathering stuff that would be good to include in the standard content.

very nice..thanks.

as you mention...very high GI settings, careful when using VPR and finest mode, it will be very slow, setting to draft helps, and for fast checking lower rays per evaluation and secondary rays.

Thanks Matt! Indeed nice to use as reference for testing surfaces. I'll probably try to convert them for Octane, will be nice to test that part further too :).

Currently using it as a sort of materials testing environment.

I think I will update the scene I did for Preset Central for that (as I want it myself for creating better LW presets to ship) when I do I'll post it on the forums.

ah..thought it might be solidarity for the upcoming earth day, green peace) but I see now ... green screen.

Im gonna spend the day sleeping as much as I can, ergo not spending that much energy at all, what a good excuse to be lazy.

Really appreciate this Matt. I know I mentioned lighting presets some time ago and you seemed very much in favor. Glad to see someone like you making things happen (opposed to someone like me who just talks about it.)

And I agree. Anything like this that could be added to content would be greatly apprieciated!
Especially for those of us who are not expecting to become CG masters - but would love to have something that looks like it has a touch of sparkle and pizazz.
Or even folks like me who find a bit of reading (coupled with giving honest attempts) to be just too much effort :)
Thanks Matt!

I used these studio lighting set ups as a starting point for my latest bunch of space ship renders (http://forums.newtek.com/showthread.php?131797-Collier-s-Space-station-project/page4). This was an excellent time saving idea, particularly when you just want to see your surfaces in well lit and realistic lighting scenario. I'll look forward to the material preset testing set up if you get it together Matt.

Matt, This is really great for me. I always have trouble with studio lighting. Very happy with these. Thanks! Can these setups be used in commercial work?

I ran a quickie just to see..added an image world and tossed in an old car. Makes a nice lil starter set.

Of course, needs a lil tweaking.

Thanks again Matt :)

Hey, Matt, I know it's FOUR YEARS ago since this thread has last been answered to. But I just wanna let you know,
that providing us all with that test-scene was very generous of you. It helps A LOT to study the whole set up and
one can quickly incorporate it into the own workflow.... really cool.... thanks a lot.... even after all these years!!!

Cheers, Matt
