Is this have any use in our 3d zoo ? Can we expect anything GPU accelerated and phyton based in LW ?

This is pretty interesting - more from the fact they've made a LLVM compiler for CUDA (so other languages could be used as a frontend too).
Now let's see if anyone else (Apple?) makes an LLVM compiler for OpenCL. Given that no other company has pushed LLVM development forward as much as Apple, it's eminently possible.
