"" tag code off for Forum rules? Forcing us to click on the link to view the images is Lame how about you mods turn it back on. Notice the image says that it is off.

Yes, the extra clicking and pop-ups are a nuisance.
Maybe the server can't handle all the images.:(

Hum... that's strange - the IMG tag is nothing more than a reference to an image file somwhere else. That cannot affect the Newtek server...

Good point.
Maybe they don't know.

We're in the trial run period with the new Forums, and one of the first things we noticed was that when folks post over-sized images it creates some display problems in the masthead at top of page. The web team seems to have taken the temporary approach of turning off inline display of images in the messages while they work the issue out.

Hehe, personally i think having them open it there own window is fine, but they should then remove the size limit on images, cos at the mo u still cant post images that are big. I dont mind a file size limit cos 200k for a jpg is still quite a big image but 500*500 is too small and i think even with the seperate window u still cant post an image larger.

It's just a bit weird how vBulletin handles mime types with Mozilla (see my other post), but vBulletin is second only to UBB when it comes to online message boards. (and catching up very fast too)

Win32 (XP/2000 have been tested)

I'm not proactive enough to boot my BSD server to X and try it there :D

Thanks Chuck for posting a reply.

Is that you in the picture?

I've never heard of UBB until today, I prefer phpBB2.

Yup. Not sure why my hair doesn't show up in pictures these days...or mirrors either, for that matter. ;)
