Hi All, just tried heat shrink, and I'm getting some weird tearing on only half of my model. Does it just need more subdivisions, or is something else wrong here?

Oh si see the problem now, nevermind =) I am guessing the tearing is caused by the topology on that side, the creases don't land on the polyflow as well as on the other side for some reason. Higher mesh density could solve it but you'll end up with a very hi-poly mesh, I wonder if spin-tris works on multy selected polygons, if so, you could apply it on the crease to help it follow the flow better. Personally, I'd re do the whole thing with sub-D.

If HeatShrink doesn't work you can try scaling the model up first, and jittering the positions of the models relative to each other so they aren't perfectly in line, both these tricks tend to work around the floating point precision issues.
