Using iain_r's "CreateLscript.p" plugin, I've generated an LScript that gives LW modelers the same 'monkey' primitive that Blender users have.

One button, wallagh! monkey.

This primitive is known as "Suzanne" in the Blenderverse. I simply saved it out from Blender as an OBJ file, imported into LWM, and ran iain_r's plugin. Then I added the resulting script to my menu config.

Script attached, and a round of applause for iain_r!!!

I just took a quick whiparound the interwebz and couldn't find the mesh that results from "idiot.p", aka "Eagle In A Barrel".

If anybody has it, please post here and we'll make it a primitive.

Found a possible zip file for it here http://forums.newtek.com/showthread.php?70917-Where-can-I-find-an-Eagle-in-a-Barrel

on my tablet, so not able to test right now.

Nah, that's the plugin, not the mesh.

ACTUALLY, that might work, but I'm running 64 bit. Maybe someone on 32 bit can give it a whirl: this is the upside to Modeler being static for so long.

I got the plug-in to work on LW 7.5, so I got the mesh. The eagle seems a little small compared to the barrel, though. Should I scale the eagle bigger?

And here we go. Now, I will say this took about 85 seconds to execute on my machine, so it's not like instant gratification. This is a case where the plugin to create plugins that LOAD (rather than construct) a commonly used object would make more sense.

But this is 3200 polys. For smaller 'primitives' CreateLScript is great.

AND, you 'get' to watch it build. :hey:
