Anyone know of a program that coverts a mov file to multiple sequence jpg files?

After Effects, Premiere, maybe QT Pro.

You could do the trick where you string an image sequence in LW together to generate a movie but do it the other way around, load your QT into LW as a backdrop and render out an image sequence. Matt Gorner has a tutorial that shows this technique.

Other options for the adventurous are Ffmpeg or Libav (or Ffmbc or Mencoder or MLT melt). They are powerful, programmable, and cross platform... once you get your head wrapped around their command line conventions.

e.g. ffmpeg -i "input.mov" -an -f image2 "output.%04d.jpg"
(YMMV depending on which tool/version/platform you use)

Here's a link to some great documentation on using ffmpeg for VFX work: https://ffmpeg.org/trac/ffmpeg/wiki/vfxEncodingGuide

edit: forgot Ffmbc

Use QuickTime pro. You simply select Export from the file menu, Export to Image Sequence, select what kind of images you want and give them a name. You get options for the individual file types, the frame rate you want exported, and of course quality. This of course works on Macs & on PC. Quicktime Pro has proven to be a fantastic little utility belt of usefulness hehe.

Using the first two suggestions right now.
Will try the next three this weekend.
You all do not how much this has helped me with the project I am working on.
