It might help if you provided a bit more information on what it's supposed to be/look like, or perhaps provide the object and scene file for others to investigate. As it is, it appears you simply did something wrong, and I know that's not very helpful.

I'm not sure what I'm looking at. Is that a single guide chain?

Set the guide thickness on the edge panel to '0'.

it is a single polly chain. it should be one fiber not many little ones showing up where ever they want

Do you have gravity set to 0% and Dynamic Gravity disabled? If not, the fibers will be pulled away from the guide.

Also, a 2-point polygon chain needs a root point--without it, FiberFX will not know which direction the fibers should flow from. If you use Strand Maker to create the guide chain from a curve, it will automatically create this for you.

In 11.5 you may also use a curve directly without converting it to a polygon chain--FiberFX will recognize the root of a curve automatically. To display a curve in Layout you need to add Show Curve under the Geometry tab--FiberFX will still render without it though. Curves may require far less memory. The downside, I think, is that you cannot weight map the curves or UV map the root points the same way as you can with 2-polygon chains.

Hope this helps.

The point order is all messed up on the old polly chains so I just reordered them one at a time point by point that really sucked......

Fiber fx does not work with depth of field is this a bug or is there some thing im missing.....?

???? out of memory to create fibers??? what the hell....
