The Modeler perspective amount is relatively easy to find (Display Options: Layout tab), but I can't seem to locate the equivalent in Layout.

I'd like a little less 'fisheye' in my Perspective viewport.

Thanks.

There isnt a way to adjust it in Layout.

I imagine you're talking about the perspective view and not the camera view. If it's the perspective view, you need to go to display options, and if it's a small object you're dealing with, bring down the grid size. This will not do the flattening that you get in modeler, but it will mean you can get closer to the object. The only way to get the perspective flattening is to view it through the camera and zoom in a lot and move your camera away from the subject. But for perspective view I'm pretty sure the only option is grid size and fixed clip distance. I've never found the perspective view to be very distorted. But now that you bring it up, perhaps it's something they should implement.

Oy, non-adjustable, how annoying.

Thanks fellas.

You'll notice in 11.5 the perspective amount is now numeric as well rather than a slider.

That's cool. It would totally be great to create sprites for 45 degree isometric pixel art games

In modern technique it has sense only for mobile or internet games.
Regular computer isometric games are better real time 3d. Even less job for developers.
It's just a matter of positioning camera and transformation matrix after all.

But only in LWM. :(
