U have a Luminosity Polygon as a Light source..

In objects property panel u have unseen by camera.

ok...

So how does one keep that poygon from showing up in the reflections??

???

Or you can plug Spot Info > Bounces to Gradient then if it's 0 -> some value, >0 -> 0.0, plug output to Luminosity. So it'll work per surface, rather per item.

Won't that still potentially be visible in reflections (as a "dark" shape) if in front of a lighter background/object? You could use the same approach to control visibility (via transparency/opacity/whatever) as well, though.

Reflections should have Bounce > 0.
So they should see them as without Luminosity plugged at all (original color of surface).

I was more thinking about luminous shape f.e. some object that is emitting light. But is also normally visible.
