Looks cool, but if I remember correctly you have a powerful Xbox. I wonder how much time it'll take on my computer. :D
Well never mind, that is still quite fast.

Can't wait to see more. :)

Yes, what are the system specs?

And could you render the same scene in 7.5 and post both the render and the render time?

this is more like it! the character stuff is okay, but not all of us will find it useful in our day to day lives!

That's very, very nice. I love renders like these.

Are those trees/plants native to LW, or was a plug-in used to create them?

And what about those clouds? They look almost real (maybe they are!) - but they have a little bit of a skytracer look about them (albeit 100% improved).

Adrian.

Hi,

I create these images to ilustrate LW as visualization package. All objects are in scene, no plugins used. Render time is less than four minutes in single P.IV 2,7 Ghz with Enhanced Medium AA settings. Backgrounds are created from photographs to improve render times.

Best regards,
Juan J. Gonzalez

WOW amazing scenes

will us DFX+ users get the content with the download for LW 8 ?
or will the content be in it's own Zip ?

Did you use any radiosity settings? how is the lighting set up? Just wondering because I pretty much do exclusively arch vis....

Woo hoo, looks great! :D Out of curiosity, is there anything going on here in the rendering that could not be accomplished in 7.5?Any new features in the renderer you could hint at?

as a content scene coming with a package, this is a cool work to analyze.
maybe there is some backdrop only radiosity in it ?

;) All your questios responded with LW[8] release ;)

In serious, there is nothing special in this scenes ... only Lightwave power with intelligent use of available resources ... i hope in short time yuo can analyze them

I've already been picking at them, seeing where you put lights and why, having a closer look at the models - I especially like the trees! :)

Thanks very much for this Juan,

Ben

_backdrop.... not sure either....

Am I wrong Juanjgon ?
