View Full Version : Help: How to fix strange polys from CAD conversion ?

Hi,

i imported a model from ProE via Moi to LW.
Some polys are somehow broken (see screenshots).
Is there a way to fix those?

those are opengl errors. not in the mesh...if you render it will probably look fine. But if you want to fix that you can slice those polygons and you already have the points to do it. so just select two points and slice it, select another two points and slice again and so on.

As zardoz says, slice to make the polys simpler. With the capital H you have slice the two upper posts so that they are separate quads, as my quick image shows:

PS. To do so, select two points at a time and hit l.
