Hi all,

I was attempting to hack some constraints together, and got somewhere useful, but not quite where I wanted.
Anyway here's the scene attached.

The basic idea is to not use shape retention but to make collision pins for 2 point poly chains.
If a point shares its vertex coords then it can pin.... a rigid or part body to a 2 point boly chain and then to a kinematic body for example.
Ensure you set the mass distribution to Vertex on the deforming body (2 point poly chains)

Also note that Mass has a huge impact on the motion and material properties of the chains.
Also note the higher the FPS the less unwanted bouncing, but an entirely different sim.
