@lino grandi - i hope itīs ok when i make a seperate thread for this topic ;)
by the way the fur looks awesome :)

This video shows how well Bullet and FiberFX work together in LightWave11.5.

I'm starting to work on a FiberFX tutorial video that will show different ways to apply fur and hair to characters and animate them using dynamics.

If you have some specific requests, please let me know, now it's the right time!

hey lino, my first request would be a basic hair setup with animation from start to finish including:

hair style setup with splines
shading the hair
preparing for animation
animating the hair with bullet
.
.

something like this would be cool ;)

Seconded!

Give us a walk through so we've got a springboard to bigger things!

we are currently trying to solve the eyelash problem, without success so far, could be an interesting challenge...

I just want to know how to use it, the traps and pitfalls, the correct workflow, light and render settings, etc. Give me the tools and I can finish the job!

the pitfalls have basically been bugs afaik, FFX should work fine now i think...

but not an expert on FFX, so i'll let others chime in here...

I just want to say that this was probably one of the best examples of fur/hair out of ffx

so maybe the best way is to do some basic videos for beginners, the basic workflow and especially the new fiber features lw11.5.

then go into depth and make some komplex videos, not too long.

One issue I seem to have is the colors on lighter fur blowing out even when I have spec down to zero. Some insight into the shading would be awesome.

Some Scene content to pull apart is good for all

I wonder if mauro's beautiful Werewolf is fixed cos
It lies in broken in LW 11 slim content, such a pity

More content that is checked working with each new
revision would do no harm!

Thatīs cute..for a tail, wonder if it is a rackoon from ice age, or a cute kitten? I would love to see a kitten.

Producing long hair flowing & twisting in the wind, worthy all those shampoo ads, that is something to strive for.
