Here are some nature models I have been making. This is located on lightwiki.com and liberty3d.com but I thought I would also start putting them here for everyone.

The Palm Tree is high poly and really tall. I didn't realize the height when I was creating it. It is about 35 meters tall so just shrink it down if you need to.

Here is some Ground Cover. Only one leaf is used. I have another file that will be uploaded that has different leaves to give variation. This is Ground Cover is High Poly, it's around 117k tris. There will be Single Ground Cover Leaf and Stem uploaded after this. Use that one to instance around your scene if needed.

Here is a Single Ground Cover Leaf. Use any of the models for what you need. This one is good to use as an instance, not high poly but still have some detail. Have fun.

Thanks for all the replies! I am trying to get more models out there in Lightwave format, its a process.

Here is the Conifer Tree. I use it for background trees or for that mid shot. I haven't tried it for close ups yet. You can separate the leaves from the tree and instance the pine needles all over the tree if the tree affects the render times. I have included a link this time since it is a larger file of 43.07 mb. The tree itself is 72,620 tris. I really made the pine needles dense. I will try and make this less poly next week.

Let me know if there are any issues with any of the models, I will try and work them out.

Thank´s...this one is promising, perhaps the needles are clumped together to much, or to small or something, maybe a larger scale of the needle´s or the poly leaves.

I´m Curious? Is the normal map really necessary,(for the leaves) that is a render clogger since you use vertex normal map on there, couldn´t see any difference with it off or on really.
the surface of the leaves might need more diffuse, or slight translucency to avoid that dark appearance.
quite dense model perhaps, might work as the hero in front of camera tree.

Thanks again for working on this, much appreciated

Conifer Tree was redone. Normal map is still on the leaves, you can take it of if needed. I've been busy at work, hopefully I can show our work soon. Enjoy. I have more trees that will be uploaded shortly.

Thanks very much for the models, Glen. They are excellent! I used them to make a little demo (http://hurleyworks.com/media/flash/AP_Paint_Demo/AP_Paint_Demo.html) of a plugin I'm working on.
