Hello,

my clients asked me if I could render a few big posters (for example 2x1 meter in 150 dpi and larger). I never before tried this, but I readed that rendering very big images could cause problems and need a lot of memory. Does someone has experience with rendering so large images in LW11?

thanks,

You should be able to render 12 000 x 6 000 pixles in LW11 if you use the 64bit version.
If not, just render it in parts using limited region.

I have used this script to divide my render into segments (2-100) when doing large print renders (but I don't know if it works with LW11?).
Then put all the rendered images back together in Photoshop.

In butterfly you can slice images over rendernodes to speed things up.

you can always do what Nick said. Render to about 6000 or so and resize your render with perfect resize. At work we do the same.
