View Full Version : Lens flares not following distant light for sun appearance

I have some upcoming volumetric studies I would like to post soon with volumetric sunlight through trees and volumetric, and also volumetric lights together with hypervoxels clouds and hypervoxels planets and fog.

Now..I sometimes use dpont´s sunsky plugin, and setting position to zero and use only rotational values, that is necessary if you want the sunsky disc and volumetric light originating from the same location and also make sure follow each other correctly.

However acheving a nice sunflare together with this is a bit troublesome since the lensflare itself does not follow distant lights which I use as the sorce for sundsky as well as volumetric, I would rather avoid using point light.

Is there a workaround to fix this?..or might we see some updates on lensflares, and maybe a true sunlight source capable of
creating sunflares and volumetric lights with controllable soft shadows and also physicly correct in origin and attenuation?
