Looks like they are doing the DAZ route... give you a free version to "buy" via the shopping system. Which makes sense. It gives them a way to try and get more users of the software and to control the downloads of their models from their site (by using the commerce system to control access).

yes, you have to create an account .
first chose the plants via the shop, and then checkout
second, create an accountn and tou can download your plants.

Hmm. All I get is a 500 error.

I also got the error but I also got the links in my email. So it shouldn't be a problem.

It took me a while with a few Web timeouts/errors, but I eventually got the free samples. Their servers may just be hurting from all the folks trying to pick up free meshes. And like 3DGFXStudios, I got an error on the final step, but an email was sent with downloadable links.

Yepp ..I registred a free account, then added what I wanted to the chart, the go to account, checkout and then I recieved a mail with download links.

Using the trees for instances would require to open them in modeler and then flatten the tree species to one layer, since they are multilayered.

But otherwise they look good...the downside is you can not set your own resolution to them so they are pretty dense perhaps in poly count, and they arenīt subpatch optimized.
