I want fbx support in vue...just like that, terragen is to slow to work with, if they havent improved on the previewer that is.

I'm pretty sure XStream is E-On's answer to serious import/export for Vue.

Meanwhile, I've been rather impressed by Terragen 2.5's FBX support. It really allows Terragen to move into pipelines in a way previously only open to Vue XStream. While I own some E-On products (CS2 MCE, Ozone6) I'm overall less than thrilled by the value proposition of Vue XStream (or Ozone for that matter). Having more direct competition may force E-On to be more realistic about Vue XStream's pricing and value. I find Terragen 2.5 + FBX competes well with Vue XStream in many capabilities and costs MUCH less.

the only problem I see is that terragem is extremelly slow to render, but the results have a little more realism than with Vue.

The Huge Problem with terragen isnīt Final Render slowness..even if that is slower than vue, it is the previewing speed that is so slow that I just had to give up on it, canīt see myself work artisticly doing tweakings with such previewer unfortunatly.

Itīs like drawing with a pensel stroke, two minutes later you see the stroke, while in vue..perhaps a couple of seconds..(just an exaggerated description)

Nothing wrong with the render/lighting quality wich probably surpasses vue, terrain manipulation getīs minus compared to vue too, and vegetation and general UI.
FBx please for vue.
