View Full Version : When did weightmaps stop deforming in LWM?

I've been meaning to ask for ages... but the Weight tool used to deform sub-patches in LWM, back to faces such that you could have hatd edges and soft edges in the one mesh. Edge weights don't seem to affect the sds in LWM either... have I missed something?

Hi,

It's working here in Modeler 11 SP3. FYI, I'm running on Win 7 Pro--maybe a Mac issue?

Just to be sure, do have SubPatch Weight selected in the Weights list? I don't think you can use this feature with any arbitrary weights, just that particular one.

You have picked up Catmull-Clark sub-patches.
You need to switch to old Sub-Patches.
