camera shake how to? as seen on BSG etc

tried searching these forums but just comes up with threads about camera settings!

Yep, the Graph Editor will do the trick. Just add a Noise Channel Modifier to the H,P, and B Rotations of the camera. You can tweak the amplitude and phasing between each axis to make it produce a non-synchronous effect.

yeh cool...got it thanks!

it's been a while!....i'm using 2 cameras one parented to the other so i can swap between them for shaky/non shakey camera with one doing the general motion (non shakey) and the child copy camera with shake!

i can also bake to keyframes and then manually edit the ramp in and out..pretty cool actually!

I think they Key Framed all that by hand, not just the shake but also Zoom and Focus. Kat of Liberty 3D may have a tutorial on the subject.

2 'Jitter' (somewhere).

If you're gonna use noisy channel this one let's you envelope the settings.

I watched Kat do it once: he just keyframed it.

Pity the Zoom tool is such a piece of rubbish.
