View Full Version : Pen Tool: 100 pt limit?

I was tracing a bitmap with the PEN TOOL (masochist), and as soon as I got to 100 points, it stopped working.

When I subsequently tried to use the ADD POINTS tool to the existing 100pt polygon, it deleted the final connecting leg and created a degenerate poly.

Using the DISK tool reveals there's no 100 pt limit to polys (isn't the limit something like 64K?) (I finished the task by starting a new poly with the Pen tool and merging the two polys.)

This seems odd. What am I missing?

tnx

Sounds like a bug worth fogging.

:: one hundred clicks later:: Yeah, I guess I should. If its documented, of course, it's just a "limitation" rather than a bug. 8~

I'm surprised it's not a "power of 2" number, like 64, 128 or 256. 100 is so..... decimal. :hey:

The PEN tool stops functioning after you've generated 100 points.

Since a polygon can have more than 100 points, this is a bug.
