Hi,
Can somebody help me out how to toggle the backdrop on and off for LW11.03?

I've watched William's tutorial but it is not working for me. Thanks for your help.

behind the scene, what this button really does(view - viewports - toggle backdrop) is simply turning show backdrop option(layout tab, display options panel) on/off(click it, and check for layout tab. note: you have to close and reopen display options panel to refresh if you already have it opened). so, if you activate independent visibility for specific viewport(s) on viewports tab, display options panel, these settings will overwrite the one on layout tab. that's why toggle backdrop button(view - viewports - toggle backdrop) does not work at all.

if you always leave all the stuff on viewports tab as factory settings, it may be some silly things happened.
