I have a scene where I have to break apart many many objects.
Bullet works fine doing the job.
My question is, how can I bake the dynamics of each object so bullet doesn't have to calculate each and every object in the scene each time i try to break a new object ?
How can I bake, and how can I load them to separate objects.?

Fast reply will be most appreciated..

Thanks in advance

Hi there,

It's fairly simple:

1. select the object you want to bake.
2. From the "deform" tab ( in the object panel ) choose "Add displacement --> MD Baker"
3. Set the filename to save, your first and last frame and click OK
4. After baking is done ( may take a while ), disable the MD Baker
5. From the "deform" tab ( in the object panel ) choose "Add displacement --> MD Reader"
6. Choose the file you just saved with MD Baker.
7. Done!

Repeat this for each object you need baked. Hope this helps.

Thank you Brötje..
I did figure it out after I posted my message here.. I guess sometimes my brain comes to full stop :)
I was also thinking Bullet may have a separate saver like LW dynamics do..
Anyways thank you..
..and yes it does help :)
