In the new "RC" podcast Mike Seymour was positive about the results of using greenscreen and LW. It wasn't really about LW but rather about the look and the idea of going to web with content. Very upbeat on the results and intrigued about if this was going to signal the way of things to come.

Seriously though, SANCTUARY was originally a for web project that went to Sci-fi. And there was another web series GEMINI DIVISION that Rosario Dawson was involved with a few years back.

I think most of the web suplimental material like BSG RAZOR, or the HEROS sublimental material, didn't fare all that well. Then again BLOOD AND CHROME had a higher production budget from what I can tell.

Who knows? Maybe there is a tipping point with the quality of the content before it can garner a big enough audience. Maybe people don't want to see a difference between the quality of the content they see on TV and content from the web.

And perhaps not quite to this extent, but LW has been working with type of concepts since BABYLON 5, doing green screen set compositions and set extension.
