Hi,

I got TIFF files with integrated alpha channels. Is there a way to use them for Color and Transparency without having to create seperate RGB and Alpha texture files?

Thanks in advance,
Rob

If you use nodal you can... you get separate colour and alpha outputs on the image node (as well as many others ofc).

You can generally do it WITHOUT nodes too: If you need both color and alpha, in the LW Image Editor create a clone of the image and set the clone's Alpha Channel to ALPHA ONLY. Use the clone for any alpha-specific needs you have.

That will for sure get you an alpha, although in general they should work for their own image. The above is for using w/other images.
