View Full Version : Digital Juice Animations ReDux...Again

I know we've been down this road before, but I have yet to figure out how to make the best use of integrating
DJ products into my XD Tricaster. Those familiar with DJ know that their "Juicer" software can convert to various
file formats...and with alpha channels. So, what is the procedure? What file format that preserves the alpha? What
is the workflow?

I've got lower thirds, you name it, that I haven't been able to use. And importantly, how do I keep the alpha for
overlays? Is there anyone using DJ products on a regular basis?

(btw, the forum search didn't reveal much.)

Any help appreciated.

Search sucks. :(

For stills, any suitable 32bit format will do - PNG, TGA32, TIFF, etc. For animations, it's a bit dicier. They're short ,generally, so you might use one of several uncompressed 32bit AVI formats, or SpeedHQ 4:2:2:4, or, if Quicktime is available, possibly PNG.
