Does anyone know how much space do I need to store approximately 6 hours of DV quality footage? Will 4x73GB U320 SCSI be enough? The video will be feeded from 5 Sony PD150 throught Firewire, and of course SX-8.

One minute of white noise plus 1k tone audio.

RTV (uncompressed best quality) - 1.22 gigs
DV Type 2 - 223megs

there are also other codecs you can use for different storage. PicVideo at 19out of 20 setting will be the same DV quality but much smaller.
So if you use the DV number as max you should be ok.

Im sure numbers vary slightly but that should be ballpark.

If you bring in your DV in DV format (i.e., thru 1394 cable), DV requires about 1GB per 5.5 minutes (about 12GB for one hour). Uncompressed analog as RTV format requires roughly about 80GB per hour. So if you have 6 hours and want uncompressed, you are not going to make it with the config you mention.
