I'm faced with diving into either the new Python SDK for LW 11, or the lower-level C++ SDK (I assume that's still available - right?) I don't see a general "SDK programming" forum so I'm taking the liberty of asking this here: Which one would experienced LW SDK programmers recommend? I've programmed in C++ and Java, so that doesn't bother me, but if Python is a Big Improvement then I would hate to miss the boat.

Anyone have any opinions, either way?

Depends on what you want to do with it, fast development time comes from sticking with Python, but if you want performance C/C++ is the way to go. And yes, the C SDK is still available. Python doesn't offer any greater access to the LW internals than the C SDK does ( Python just wraps the C SDK ) if that's a concern.
