View Full Version : FBX Export to Maya Rotation Problems

So I have a bullet sim that I exported to Maya.

Everything came across fine except for the rotations.

The rotations ARE correct, except every 20 frames the keys reset to their original rotation and then continue for 20 frames and then reset again.

You can see this here in the maya graph editor


Anyone know how to correct this?

Nevermind I figured it out :)

Have to make sure the FPS is the same on BOTH programs, had 24 FPS set on Maya.

Actually that didn't work.

So if anyone knows why this isn't working I'm all ears.

It looks like it is wrapping from 180 to -180... I wonder if FBX doesn't hold onto values greater than 180 or less than -180 since 181 can also be represented as -179.
