Hi guys,

Way back in June/July, I had the idea to do a short video on making fireworks in LightWave. I started it, but ran out of steam. I decided to edit the first part and post it up for this week's video. I'm not sure when I'll get to part 2 where I show the surfacing/particle techniques required for rendering, but this should get you to the point where you can start to experiment on your own.

Oh, and the parts where I set the emitter nozzle size are mostly unnecessary steps since the nozzle type gets changed later in the process.

Sorry this is so long, but it used to be a bit longer before editing :)

Thanks for sharing, I might get some time over to do my own tutes now at last, sadly I lost my job due to reorganization and lack of work.
Not sure If Im gonna give them away for free as promised or charge a very small amount:) to help pay for the bread.
Then again it will be full time almost looking for jobs too.

Cheers

Michael

Mr. Vaughn did one a long time ago I think. Or maybe in Lightwave Essentials. Anyway, it is good to see an updated version.
