View Full Version : Possible Point weirdness with LW 10...

Has anyone here had any problems with the 'Merge Points' function lately?

I've been rebuilding DAZ's Aiko 3 to lighten her up, poly-wise, and I've noticed that if I do the usual 'cut the character in half, center the center points to 0 on the X Axis, Mirror, Merge Points', It now doesn't FIND any points to merge at the center. I have to MANUALLY weld all the center points.

I can do something similar with a test sphere and it welds the points with no issue...and it seemed to do it with no issue not that long ago for me.

I was just wondering if it's JUST me screwing up something...or if it's a weird bug of some form.

*Baffled* :screwy: :stumped:

Thanks, gang.

May be there's a morph vmap value assigned to points,
then MergePoint tool refuses to merge them.

But would that affect the Base form?
I can see if I tried to do the mirror while IN a morph, that it'd probably do that. Strange things happen when you alter Morphs like that.

I'll test that idea...maybe it's me doing that...spaced out...?

Points which are candidate for being merged
must also have the same vector values (vector displacement)
in the Morph vmap.
