In this window they show a new option in LW11 which makes inactive windows half transparent ..
Look nice, but where can I activate this thing ??
I couldnt find it and I never heard about it before ..

that's Mac, think it's a OS feature, not a LW feature.

Looks like he got an 11.1 to review. Looks interesting though.

As a side note, does anyone know what 'undock preview window' does? In the documents it helpfully says that optioning the 'undock preview window' undocks the preview window, well duh!

Colour me stupid but other than the VPR window I can't figure out what it refers to.

sounds like a new VPR feature...

Along the menubar, Special, tick off "Opaque Utility Windows". Any palette that is over a viewport will go opaque when you start moving stuff about.

undock preview window - creating a preview opens it up in a new window.

Yes, as raw-m says. It makes the preview in a separate window rather than using the viewport meaning that you can make a preview at camera res if you choose, or at whatever size you like rather than being forced to use the viewport's size.

You know, that seems so obvious now. Don't know why I didn't make the connection myself.
