Thank you! Although not exactly what I wanted - I think its good enough (Tractor tire criss cross in the middle) but I'll experiment. Still, thanks for the link. I'm still getting myself used to this new forum.

I just happened to be making something similar today, not for tractor but a dock crane, has different tread, not so chunky. here's where it's at for the time being, check out the UV mapping. Perhaps useful, pehaps no.

Yes, what ever happened to Liquidpope? Good guy. He once took a risk to get me some good photo reference for a project I was working on.
