Hi guys,

Just can't work out how to render a single object in a scene of many. I've tried [Sel Object F11] but no output files are recorded.

Any ideas please ? Must be there somewhere.

LW10

Thanks

Try turning off everything else in the Scene Editor?

Thanks Dexter, did try turning all to 'Hidden' in Scene editor. Can only think that object properties and going for 'unseen by camera' perhaps. But got 100s of objects and would take ages to deselect :(

To quickly select, click on the item selector between Current Item and Properties then press CTRL + A to select all. Deselect the desired object. Open Object Properties, Render Tab and check Unseen by Camera.

f11 will render the selected object.

Normally you should select only the desired object and to F11. Then save the file through the File menu in Image Viewer.

Thanks Areyos for the quicky select all tip :) Then on to the Unseen by Camera, checked and double checked every thing and still no change, every object is still being rendered even with 'unseen by camera' selected....

"Hidden" I believe applies to the OpenGL settings. Actually turn them off in the Scene Editor and I believe they will be gone. To turn them off un-check them, right next to the column where you made them hidden in the Scene Editor.

I have no idea why you could still see them after making them "unseen by camera"

All of these items are in separate layers right?

Ok this is now working for some reason with F11 :) , but only for the current frame. How do I do a 150 frames ?

Not enough :)

For Unseen by Camera you can check with the VPR (CTRL + F9).

In the case of rendering a scene is easiest to disable (uncheck) the objects in the Scene Editor (Select / Select All Objects and activate the desired object). It is also verifiable in the VPR.
