Hey All,

This isn't a LW problem, but hopefully someone can help me. I'm trying to export the camera data(.chan) into Layout but Nuke is giving me the blues.

Nukes exact words -- couldn't open "myfolder": permission denied.

Can anyone help on this before I lose my freaking mind?

Yes. My issue is in Nuke itself. Keeps giving me an error. Am I the only one who's had this problem? It really sucks!

Our Nuke-guy means, that sounds like a problem with your writing authorization. Try to use another directory for testing. Do you run Nuke as administrator?

You also could export a chan-file from Nuke and convert it to fbx:

Something is seriously wrong. SERIOUSLY WRONG!!!

I've tried every directory.

I've tried a different computer.

I've reloaded my OS and tried it and still doesn't work.

NOW!!! I've tried Autodesk Matchmover and it's giving me the same freakin' error! What the freak!

Could it be Windows? I hope not cause this is the only OS I have... I do have Windows XP, but who the heck wants to downgrade to that?!

I don't know what writing authorization is, I'm not a python guy or anything. I sure it has something to do with the OS though, ARGG!!!

And yes I ran Nuke as admin, and everything else.

Ok, I guess you are working locally on your workstation. That thing with writing authorizations would be more relevant if you would save your data on a server (writing authorizations usually are assigned by the sys-admin) . But in this case...

I guess youve really got a mayor problem in your system :(
On different computers - really strange.

OMG! I'm such an IDIOT!!! I kept trying to change the "filter" name when I should have been changing the directory name!!! I called an my bro and IT guru to help me even and he figured it out... I feel so dumb.

I just got -1 point for that.
