anyway i can see a models point index number?

need to parent a null to an mdd using dponts pointinfo and i've thousands to choose from. would rather be specific than use trial and error to find the specific one i require.

thanks

in modeler, select the point, hit "i" to display its info.

If you have Lwcad, the snap & weight tool have an option to show the point index in the viewport, but only in wireframe mode.
I've discovered this just yesterday :)

I'm using Modeler 10.1, and LWCad 3.6.1, and for me point indexes are shown for all OGL modes when "show point indexes" is checked in the Drag & Weight tool.

For showing point indexes for viewport-selected points (vertices) using the "Info" panel, just noting for newcomers that it only shows the indexes for the points you are "editing", meaning the ones in the list you have selected or where you clicked the "Edit All" button.
