Where is the best way to (and how do I) lengthen my animation timeline so that the keys I have laid down can be further spread apart?

At the bottom right where is tells you the length of your animation in frames, default is 60, just type the amount of frames you want.

Sorry. I wasn't asking what I meant to ask - how do I take an animation that is 360 and make it into an animation of 480 frames by spacing all of my keys apart accordingly? This is a scaling question. I want to be able to increase the actual length of all of the keys equally.

Okay. Figured it out. Edit Channels; Numeric Scale. Then, Time Scale Factor.

One way is to use the Dope Track to drag the keyframes where you want them. Another way is to use the Graph Editor to do the same. Or the Scene Editor. . . or . . .

Yup, the dope sheet is probalby the easiest I've found. You can even watch a video of it from this page (I would download it) Its in the first set of videos. http://forums.newtek.com/showthread.php?t=77002

Ive found that sometimes the dopesheet creates fractional frames so be careful. Theres also a few other plugins for scalling and stretching the timeline.
