Dope track request making animating easier.

Shft+Ctrl click dopetrack will create key from previous nearest key at TCB 0

Shft+Alt click dopetrack will create key from previous nearest key at TCB 1.0

Drag selection keys creates selection with arrows at both ends to scale keys or invert scale keys realtime.

I would like selection sets in the scene editor and flyout panels to show up in the dopetrack. I would also like to see channel sets from the GE editor show up as well

Good ideas. There's some dead space on the bottom where I think the layout could be improved to make room for some buttons.

That's a nice mockup. Wonder if Matt is capable of doing that in code.

Here's the shift click I mentioned that we could have in dopetrack. Youtube link below.
Maestro is actually using this method and its faster than the usual create duplicate key, open graph editor, change tcb to 1.0, close ge.
Keyframe stetching and reversing is also cool.

sorry preview with screencap is very slow on laptop.

Btw in the video I'm using lw 9.6 because there's a bug with maestro and lw 11 after making preview, maestro's dopesheet gets stuck and won't update. Anyone with maestro know of a fix. Its a pity to lose the dopesheet in maestro. Its one of the coolest tools in lw.
There doesn't seem to be any update anymore for maestro which is too bad.

regarding the tcb, Kevman made this script,
http://forums.newtek.com/showthread.php?t=122175

(edit: i found CreateKey+ is faster, just add a preset and creating a hold key is a 2-click solution)
(sometimes a 1-click, as CreateKey+ remembers the last setting)

but for sure, functions Ólla Maestro would be superb!

I'm using both and another one made by chris I think to mass change tcb, etc. That mouse click create previous key hold key in maestro is pretty useful though and I only know maestro has it. Its usually drag key in timeline to create/clone holdkey, open ge, adjust curve in lw and any other software I used. Its time consuming for something you do very often.

the optimal would be a script that did it automatically, without any requester.

you could then just map the script to a keyboard shortcut > "ca-zaam!" done!

I was thinking the same. Ernest Chan has a script that's close. Not sure if it can be modified to create a key on current timeline that's a copy of previous closest key and convert both keys to tcb 1.0 all in once click.

@warnings
@name "SetupKey"

generic
{
mytime=Scene().currenttime;
CreateKey(0);
DeleteKey(mytime);

}

maybe Kevman can make a one-click solution and sell it...
i'd be happy to buy it...
