It would be really nice if we could create our own shaders without needing to learn programming.

Why yes, it is only for intel. This is why I love my pc...

I tried to look at the Sabre page but it's in some Asian language I don't know (that would be all of them). I saw something about 6900 yen for the price but I don't know what that translates to into American money. Of course you can can get darktree simbiont also but I agree, it would be nice to be able to build our own shaders within Lightwave.

Saber is pc only, about $50 and there is an english manual posted on the site. The beta seemed promising, perhaps if enough mac users showed an interest he would port it?

Darktree is pc only too...

I asked the makers of pixels 3d about porting their ShadermakerPro to lightwave but never got a reply. That has to be one of the better nodal based shader systems available.
