I had this model on my hd for a long time, I can't remember exactly where I found it. Maybe you can find the same on google earth, I really don't know. Anyways, I thought some could be happy to play with this! Cheers!

I'm idly wondering it it's a CityEngine export, but haven't taken a look yet. If it is, my information is that redistribution of anything that isn't parametrically generated is an issue.

I'm almost sure I found this on an italian website, about two years ago, it was an architectural contest. It was there, available for the download along with other contest documentation. So I think and wish, they had a sort of permission to distribute the model publicly.

Thanks Mitja. This looks great

Could you post the contest documentation, just to check it's okay to use?

I tryed to find the website but this is gonna be difficult/impossible. The competition is from 2-3 years ago, I don't remember anything about the website nor the subject of the competition. I don't know what and where to search, so to speak. I'm sorry.

nice but has no ground plane just a water plane so all building appear to float in the air and worse the main square (Piazza San Marco) has a great big mutant tangle of polygons upended at an angle that I presume was the ground plane before it got trashed by some unknown glitch in the file export protocol, but all of the above withstanding, thnx
