When doing an arch vis project for a client, is it like photography, where the creator [me] has the rights to do whatever he wants to do with it? or is it the property of the client because it was his design? Just curious on the subject . . .

"Normally" -- if you are in the US (or another location with similar laws) -- if you are hired to create the visualization, you DO NOT own the copyright. It is called a "work made for hire".

if the contract says, "work for hire" than they own it, otherwise, it's probably yours...

I guess the main thing is if I use the images to solicit more work, as long as i credit the architect as the designer, I'm pretty much safe, right? Or make it clear that it is a rendering for a client, thereby making it known that I did not design it . . .
